Our shelter animals are in tremendous need - they rely on the kindness of compassionate animal lovers to get the above and beyond care they need to get their second chance at life. While our city-funded budget covers most of our operational expenses, it is our donors who give us the ability to provide specialty medical care, have foster, volunteer, and offsite adoption programs, support animals in hospice care, and so much more. They also allow us to address the problem at its source by providing free vaccination and microchip clinics to underserved communities, thereby protecting animals from disease and helping them get home if they get lost. Additionally, they allow us to spay or neuter about 1000 community cats a year to reduce the number of kittens being born on our streets. They also support our Homeless Outreach and Assistance Team, which provides care to animals of unhoused owners. These are just a few of the ways YOU will be making a tangible impact on our community, the animals, and the people who love them. Thanks for considering being a hero to someone in need!
