Bridge the Gap in Community Cat Spay/Neuter
The cost of community cat spay & neuter is going up. Can you help?

Our cost for cat spay & neuter has unexpectedly risen from $85/cat to $100/cat, and since we fund 50 cat surgeries each week for volunteers doing TNR in our community, we need your help! This cost increase means we need to raise $25,000 in addition to already budgeted funds to keep providing uninterrupted service through this program. Each gift of just $15 helps us spay or neuter another cat and gets us that much closer to our goal.
For several years, we have partnered with Community Spay Neuter Clinic and a dedicated team of volunteer cat trappers to complete the spay & neuter of thousands of free-ranging community cats in the Sacramento area each year. This program has altered over 8,000 cats, prevented at least 10,000 new kittens, and completed the sterilization of almost 1,000 colonies since 2021! Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is important for so many reasons. Not only are there fewer kittens without homes, but the adult cats are healthier and live longer, and are less likely to cause trouble with their human neighbors.
